Product Details

The sketch depicts a vibrant scene from Ottawa's annual Tulip Festival. It captures the explosion of color as fields of tulips stretch out, showcasing various shades of red, yellow, pink, and purple.

The Tulip Festival, an annual event held in May, celebrates the historic ties between Canada and the Netherlands. The festival commemorates the Dutch royal family's wartime refuge in Ottawa during World War II and the gift of tulips sent to Canada as a symbol of gratitude.

Reproduced on high-quality 100lb paper and archival ink so your art will last for years to come!

Print size is 5" x 7". *Frame not included.

Made by Downtown Sketcher in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Framed version comes in a handmade wooden frame from Quebec. To get it framed - add the 5" x 7" size frame from the handmade frame collection by Le Cadre Urbain to your cart and we'll frame it for you!
