Whelk Goods caps contain a Blutech (Accelerated Biodegradation Technology) Brim:
Traditional plastic brims can take up to thousands of years to decompose, depending on the type and conditions. That’s where Blutech comes in – this organic material drastically accelerates the brim’s biodegradation rate. Unlike regular plastic, this brim is sustainable and made with the planet in mind. Once in a landfill, the Blutech brim is chemically designed to attract surrounding microbes.
Size: One adult size, rear adjustable metal buckle closure makes it adjustable to fit most, 4" crown
Care: Machine washable, sit with brim flat to air dry
Fabric: 50% recycled cotton, 50% virgin cotton (OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100)
